All profits from the PROPS collection will be donated to Design Can, supporting their work towards a more inclusive and accessible design industry. Henrik’s playful approach to form-making is best demonstrated in his Slurp series of works. Cutting into sheets of wood to leave characterful perforation-as-pattern is typical. As is applying a thick layer of glossy paint, rendering the final forms softened and cartoon-like. Curated by Modern Design Review, Slurp Stool comes in a hand-signed limited edition of 5, made exclusively for Hem. As each piece is handmade, individual differences will occur, making it a unique and one-of-a-kind product. Each stool is shipped with a complimentary 70 x 100 cm / 27.5 x 39.4 in PROPS poster.
